Katherine McDermott is known for her dramatic use of color and composition, Katherine's work is diverse, ranging from architectural compositions to pet portraits, still life, landscape, floral, and pet portraits. She has studied under Leslie Capshaw, Cathy Lubke and Janet Walsh, as well as completing courses from the North Light Art School. In addition to working full time in her studio and virtual gallery, Katherine offers private one-on-one instruction and custom group workshops.




























L. Martin Pavletich, a native of northern New Mexico, is actively involved in a successful art career after leaving a profession in mechanical engineering.  He is fulfilling a lifelong desire to paint after being influenced by his mother, also a New Mexico artist.

He originally began experimenting with oils in the 1980s, but after a workshop in 1995, Pavletich began to concentrate seriously on pastels.  Following another class in 2006, he is painting with oils again and finds the new challenge has further enriched his love of art.

Carol Rupp is a realistic artist, with forty years of experience as a professional artist and instructor. Carol works in watercolor, acrylic, pastel and pencil.  Her work is very detailed with attention to color, light, and shadow.  She specializes in portrait work but enjoys working with a wide variety of subjects.  Since moving to New Mexico she has been painting the local wildlife and scenery, especially the Aspens.  Carol tries to capture in her artwork those moments in nature when the light, shadows or colors are unique and will only be there for a brief moment in time. She has a studio in her home and a gallery where she exhibits her work.

Janet Sailor:Janet Sailor has been a self-employed artist, graphic designer, photographer, printer, and publisher for 45 years. After moving from Austin TX to Angel Fire in 1995, she opened Access Media and began generating a steady stream of marketing materials, publications, and personal art. In 2014 Sailor expanded Access Media into a gallery showcasing works by other area artists as well as her own. She particularly enjoys the creativity of others, and for the past 12 years has awarded a cash prize and certificate for the “Most Creative” entry at the annual Moreno Valley Arts Council ArtsFest.

Carl Swanson: 

Carl was born on January 25,1947, the same day Al Capone died. His uncle moved the family to Raton from Indiana in 52 after his dad got thrown in the slammer one too many times and has been Raton since.He considers himself a native and can't imagine living anywhere else. His love for the land of the eastern plains of New Mexico is evident in all his acrylic landscapes of the land of the Santa Fe Trail.
Carl worked as a heavy equipment operator but has always had a passion for art.

 Sherry Wolf attained a Masters of Art degree in metalsmithing and woodworking. Sculpture has always been her focus. Most recently Sherry’s artwork has been concentrated on embossed metal, mixed media and collage . Her sculptures and wall art incorporate the historical and ethnic spirit of the region, creating both non representational and representational works. The materials can include acrylic paint, wood, paper, metal and/or concrete.
